General information
The demand for foreign workers in Poland has been increasing year by year. Since 2006, there are regulations enabling some foreigners undertaking short-term work in Poland based on the declaration on the intention to entrust a job.
At present, citizens of the Republic of Armenia, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Georgia, Republic of Moldova, Russian Federation and Ukraine enjoy this right. They can legally work in Poland for 180 days within a year, based on the declaration registered by the employer being an alternative to the work permit obtaining which requires more effort on the part of the employer.
